What was the highlight of Regency Torviscas Apartments and Suites
Great family stay with clean and spacious rooms
We had an amazing holiday! The location is amazing with a great view and great staff. The apartments are spacious and the heated pool is really amazing. I feel like there might be a new owner as they were really investing in the buildings (painting, placing solar panels). The beach is about 20 min walk down and we used a taxi for return to the hotel which costed about €4,50 (also pending weekend/night tariffs). Our son of 5 really enjoyed the swimming pool and felt really safe to let him swim there alone. The three pools are different in dept: 0,50m - 1.10m and 1.20m - 160m. In between the kidspool and the others there are huge rocks so the kids can’t go to the other pools per accident. They also have a small playground where the kids can easily find each other. There is also like a storage container where people leave there beach stuff, so you don’t have to buy that, you can borrow it there. They have like 4-7 floatable rounds, diving goggles and swimming noodles Animation: Everyday a various program, they are really making an effort to have activities for all ages. While we were there sometimes no one wanted to engage with the program so then it had to be cancelled unfortunately. Restaurant and drinks: I would like them to serve lemonade or Ice tea green, most options they have in soda’s are mostly carbonated (they do have apple juice). Food is really really good and I can recommend eating there. The French fries are really good too!! Don’t forget tot taste some Cocktails during the daily happy hour! PLEASE go to the bbq night. It’s a must, best grill and Canarian potatoes with mojo verde and mojo rojo ever!! Guests: We were the only dutch, i’d say about 80% were from England/Wales/Ireland. Bakery/supermarket There is a small bakery at the reception where from 8AM you can collect fresh bread and other baked goods. There is also a small supermarket where you can get your essentials.
Poolbar: they need a good coffee machine for in the morning, there is only a machine with instant at the reception. I think money can be earned there. Furthermore there is no airco, we didn’t need it at our time, but that could be an investment made like to be able to book a few apartments with airco.

Great apartments and value for money, though location no good for us
Room was great - it was bigger than expected. View was fabulous - pool, sea and mountain views! Facilities in the room were really good - had everything that you'd need to store and prepare food.
The pool was small and not enough sunbeds for everyone, so had to go off site most days. The location of the apartments was too far from the centre of the resort and the beach for us. Should've done more research into that. Had to get a taxi down and back most days to the beach area. The hills are horrendous!

What was the highlight of Regency Torviscas Apartments and Suites
Overall, a peaceful and scenic stay, but with some things to be aware of depending on your needs.
We stayed at this quiet hotel located up on a hill, offering a lovely view of the sea and sunset. The on-site restaurant was very nice, and we especially enjoyed the swimming pools. Since we were traveling with a toddler, we mainly used the heated pool — the other pools were a bit too cold for us. It would have been great if the pool hours were longer, as they are currently only open from 10:00 to 17:00.
The children’s play area could use some maintenance as it felt a bit rundown. One thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs throughout the property — it's difficult to avoid them entirely, even when accessing your room. This made things a bit tricky with a stroller. The beds were quite creaky, which affected our sleep a little. Our biggest disappointment was with the parking fees. We rented a parking space from the hotel and were told the cost was €10 per day or €30 for three days. However, when we were leaving, we noticed a posted sign stating the rates were actually €8 per day and €20 for three days. So it’s worth double-checking any extra charges when booking.

Too far away from the front so it made everything more expensive drinks were double the price of on the beach front so I would not return
